Launched in 2015, NUIT D'ISSEY is a fragrance designed for men that exudes a woody and spicy aroma. The design of the bottle is a striking black, symbolizing the essence of night, transitioning from a smoky gradient to a solid black, featuring a textured surface. The cap also comes in black, which lends the overall packaging a refined and understated look. Created by perfumers Dominique Ropion and Loc Dong, this fragrance aims to capture the essence of illuminating the night. The top notes are a fresh blend of grapefruit and pink pepper, while the heart reveals a fusion of leather and vanilla, culminating in a base of patchouli and tonka bean. It is classified as an eau de parfum.

THE ISSEY MIYAKE STORY

Issey Miyake Parfums is a collection that was co-developed with Beauté Prestige International in France. The first fragrance, L'Eau d'Issey was born in 1992. The idea for this scent, whose name means ‘water’, was conceived of by Miyake, who saw water as both the greatest material, as well as the greatest source for inspiration. It has had a remarkable influence upon the world of perfume.

The Miyake Design Studio supervises the creative direction for the fragrance at every stage, from the initial concept to bottle design, naming, graphics, package design, marketing tools, and publicity.

Issey Miyake’s philosophy has never deviated.
